Last week we were able to finish painting the upstairs. It is a darker color but I think it looks really nice. It was a ton of work but everything is back in place and all nice and clean. I need to bring my camera home and take a picture so you can see it. Only 4 more days until I get to see the grandsons. I am very excited and ready to help with the nursery. I think I am making curtains.
School is going great. Dad and I both had a class tonight and neither one of us was home most of the day. His class was a Q &A where mine was for my laptop. 2 more classes and I am done.

This picture was taken at Snowbird. We are missing Aly and Ryan of course but I still like it.
We are all back into routine with school and work and Saturday football games. I love fall!

Happy Mount Saint Helen's Day

30 years ago Mt. Saint Helens blew up. Jim and I were in Provo Utah going to school and heard about it at work. This event scared me to death! We were to be married in one month and we were going to fly right over the mountain. No one knew at that time how long the mountain would continue to spew ash all over the world. I just knew that it would blow again as we would be flying over it. Well.......it didn't. Thank goodness. But I do remember flying over it when we came home for our reception. It was an amazing site! If you are in the northwest and ever get a chance to visit the mountain, do. It is well worth the trip.
In other news, I still do not know where my job will take me next year. All year long I have been planning on going back to my old school Bilquist Elementary. I was involuntarily transfered this year to a different school. I have had to share a room which is hard because you always feel like a guest. There are some problems at the school in which I have chosen not to be a part of therefor I feel a little out of the loop with the other teachers. I have enjoyed my class this year and most of my parents. Keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to go back to my old school. We are suppose to find out next week.... but that is what they said last week, and the week before that.
The new roommates are doing great. Emilee is a great cook (better than me) and is not afraid to try new things. Ivy is getting to know us a little better and sometimes even likes us.
Eli is doing great in school and gets to come home once in awhile.
Jim is feeling better, the kidney stone is out but they put another stint back in so there is some discomfort still. He gets that taken out in June.

Road Trip

We went to Seattle to visit the family and had a great time. Here are some pictures to share. Ivy had a great time table dancing to great grandpa's uke music. Love to all.

Roommates

As you know Eli, Emilee and Ivy have moved in. It is so fun to have a baby in the house. Ivy is getting a little more use to grandma and grandpa every day. Hopefully I can learn to do this blog thing by myself and keep it up a little better.

Last night we were able to go and visit Ivy, Eli and Emilee and her brother Jeff. We had a yummy dinner then gave Ivy a bath and played the new(updated) clue game. It was fun. We left early because Jim was going to be 24 hours today and he wanted to get a good night sleep. I have a bunch of stuff that needs to be done so, back at it I guess.

We had a great weekend with the grandboys. We were able to fly down to Ian and Shannons with Great grandma Bowles. Our weekend was jammed packed! We went to the BYU vs Airforce game on Saturday along with the Dinosaur museum and Monte L. Bean museum. We were pretty tired at the end of the day, and so were the little boys!
On Sunday Shannon had a very nice Valentine Dinner planned and Monday we were able to swim at the Hotel, and have lunch at one of the new In-n- Out burger joints.
Then home again and back to work. I had to be at school on Tuesday while Jim and grandma were able to go visit Eli, Emilee and Ivy.
So back to a normal schedule so off to do laundry.
