Happy Mount Saint Helen's Day

30 years ago Mt. Saint Helens blew up. Jim and I were in Provo Utah going to school and heard about it at work. This event scared me to death! We were to be married in one month and we were going to fly right over the mountain. No one knew at that time how long the mountain would continue to spew ash all over the world. I just knew that it would blow again as we would be flying over it. Well.......it didn't. Thank goodness. But I do remember flying over it when we came home for our reception. It was an amazing site! If you are in the northwest and ever get a chance to visit the mountain, do. It is well worth the trip.
In other news, I still do not know where my job will take me next year. All year long I have been planning on going back to my old school Bilquist Elementary. I was involuntarily transfered this year to a different school. I have had to share a room which is hard because you always feel like a guest. There are some problems at the school in which I have chosen not to be a part of therefor I feel a little out of the loop with the other teachers. I have enjoyed my class this year and most of my parents. Keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to go back to my old school. We are suppose to find out next week.... but that is what they said last week, and the week before that.
The new roommates are doing great. Emilee is a great cook (better than me) and is not afraid to try new things. Ivy is getting to know us a little better and sometimes even likes us.
Eli is doing great in school and gets to come home once in awhile.
Jim is feeling better, the kidney stone is out but they put another stint back in so there is some discomfort still. He gets that taken out in June.

Road Trip

We went to Seattle to visit the family and had a great time. Here are some pictures to share. Ivy had a great time table dancing to great grandpa's uke music. Love to all.
